Version 1.0 - Effective 9 May 2026

The Short Version

You get early access to unreleased software. In return, you agree to provide feedback, keep things confidential, and accept that beta software may have bugs. Active testers may earn discounts or free access to the final release.

1. What You're Agreeing To

By joining the beta programme, you agree to:

Test and Provide Feedback

  • Use beta software in real or realistic scenarios
  • Report bugs, issues, and usability problems
  • Respond to feedback requests when reasonably able

Maintain Confidentiality

  • Keep beta software, features, and related information confidential
  • Not share screenshots, recordings, or descriptions of unreleased features publicly
  • Not discuss beta software outside designated channels (e.g., private beta forum, direct communication with us)

This confidentiality ends when the relevant feature or product is publicly released.

Accept the Limitations

  • Beta software is provided "as is" without warranty
  • It may contain bugs, cause crashes, or behave unexpectedly
  • We cannot guarantee support response times for beta issues
  • Beta access may be revoked at any time

2. What You Get

Early Access

Access to pre-release software before general availability.

Influence

Your feedback directly shapes the product. Features may be added, changed, or removed based on tester input.

Potential Rewards

We value active testers. Depending on your contribution level, you may receive:

  • Discounted access to the final release
  • Free access to the final release
  • Credit or acknowledgement (with your permission)

Important: Rewards are granted at our discretion based on participation quality, not guaranteed by joining. We'll communicate specific reward criteria for each beta programme.

3. Feedback and Intellectual Property

Any feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or ideas you provide become our property. We may use them freely without compensation or attribution (unless you've agreed to be credited).

You won't retain any rights to features developed based on your feedback.

This is standard practice and ensures we can incorporate good ideas without legal complexity.

4. Your Data

Beta participation is logged in your account. We track:

  • When you joined the programme
  • Reports you've submitted
  • Any rewards earned

This information is covered by our Privacy Policy.

5. Leaving the Programme

You can leave the beta programme at any time via your account settings or by contacting us.

If you leave:

  • You'll lose access to beta software
  • Confidentiality obligations continue for unreleased features
  • Earned rewards (e.g., confirmed discounts) remain valid

We can remove you from the programme if you:

  • Breach confidentiality
  • Are inactive for extended periods
  • Violate our Terms of Service

6. No Warranty

BETA SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Use beta software at your own risk. Do not use it for critical or commercial work without backups.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated, and continued participation constitutes acceptance.
